Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the booking platform operated by The Body Refinery® ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services

The Body Refinery® provides professional body contouring, skin, and wellness services performed by Jenna Kahle at our private studio. Services are booked exclusively through this platform and are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of services.

2. Accounts

To book an appointment, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

3. Bookings & Appointments

All appointments are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed once full payment (or package credit redemption) is successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation email and, if Google Calendar is connected, a calendar invitation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion, including if we believe a client poses a health or safety risk.

4. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

Session packages are purchased upfront and credits are applied per booking. Package credits are non-transferable and may have an expiry date as specified at time of purchase.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Our cancellation policy is outlined in full on our Cancellation Policy page. By booking with us, you agree to these terms. In summary:

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your appointment: full refund
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment: 50% refund (or 1 package credit forfeited)
• No-shows: no refund issued

Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

6. Health & Safety

You are responsible for disclosing any health conditions, allergies, medications, or contraindications that may affect your treatment. The Body Refinery® reserves the right to decline service if we believe a treatment may be unsafe for you.

By booking, you confirm that you are in suitable health to receive the service selected and that you have disclosed any relevant medical information.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this platform — including text, images, logos, and branding — is the property of The Body Refinery® and is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Body Refinery® shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Manitoba.
